Entering is Easy

Simply visit our contest page and fill out the entry form on our "Enter to Win" page, and you'll be entered. You can enter once a day. The contest ends on November 30th, 2009.

1. Your account will be deleted if found to be in breach of any of these rules.
2. Only one account per person is permitted.
3. When registering, a valid email address has to be used. Disposable email addresses are not permitted.
4. Try Local First is about people.  Domain names in forum/login names are not allowed.
5. Keep all posts on-topic.
6. All posts must be in English.
7. Do not pretend to be/represent somebody else.
   
8. Do not discuss illegal activities.
9. If asking a question, first search that your question has not been answered anywhere else on the site.
10. Post to the most appropriate place. Any posts deemed to be in the wrong forum will be moved. Do not cross-post the same question to multiple places.
11. Use your own words. If you wish to use the words of somebody else, quote them, citing the source.
12. No useless posts. This includes: Thread bumping, useless one liners, Flamewars, Trolling and Spamming.
13. Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually oriented material or might otherwise be considered offensive. Any post containing an inappropriate link will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning.
14. Do not propose/link to any site that contains warez/copyrighted software/materials that can be downloaded illegally.
15. No affiliate links to be posted, anywhere on our forum.
16. Be cordial to your fellow posters.  Thank them, encourage them, and support each other.  
17. No -ism of any kind.  If all you have is negativity to share, perhaps another forum is better suited for you!
18. If you have a problem remembering what will happen if you break any of these rules, please refer to rule #1.

Signatures

1. Must be setup in your Profile, and not manually added to your messages.
2. May NOT contain any images.
3. May not contain any pricing, sales, product etc. details.
4. May contain a maximum of two smilies.
5. Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal.
6. Must be kept to a maximum of four lines.
7. May not contain links to other threads or posts for the purpose of self promotion.
8. Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent.
9. Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to anyone is prohibited.
10. We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.
